The difference isn't depth — it's the question each one answers
Chart, Natal, Decade, Annual, Compatibility, Cards — one page to see what each one answers, and which one to use right now
A lot of people show up assuming these are just different tiers of the same thing, so you buy the expensive one and you're set. They're not. They all read the same chart, but they answer completely different questions — pick the wrong one and even the priciest reading won't tell you what you actually wanted to know.
Natal, Decade, and Annual are three focal lengths on the same thing. Different focal length, different picture — ask Annual "what kind of person am I," or ask Natal "is this a good month to switch jobs," and you'll come away disappointed.
A lifetime|Natal Reading:The framework of who you are: your long-term tendencies in personality, career, relationships, and money. Calculated once, then it's the backdrop for everything else.
Ten years|Major-Cycle Reading:What theme this ten-year stretch runs on, and when the turning points fall. Read on top of the Natal backdrop.
One year|Annual Reading:This year's career, money, and relationships, and the rhythm across the four seasons. Read with all three layers — Natal, Decade, Annual — stacked together.
Within three months|Ziwei Cards:Whether to do the one specific thing in front of you, and when to move. No chart — you draw three cards.
The chart itself is free, and it's the basis for everything above — it doesn't interpret anything, it just lays out the chart for you to see.
Everything above is about you. But two kinds of question aren't about you alone.
Compatibility Reading:The interplay between two people: who can't let go of whom, where you click, where you get stuck. Needs both people's birth details. Works for couples, coworkers, business partners, friends, and family.
Auspicious Birth Time:When the birth time can be scheduled (a C-section, say), it lays out a chart for each candidate hour, compares them side by side, and gives you a recommendation on the trade-offs.

Read the Natal analysis. It's the backdrop for every other reading — get it first and everything after it stands on firmer ground.
Want to know about the near term, read Annual; want the big direction, read Decade. You don't need both — it depends which scale you care about.
Got a specific person to ask about? Use the Compatibility Reading. Something suddenly hanging over you? Use the Cards. Both can drop in anytime — no waiting your turn.
Do Natal and Annual overlap? Is it a waste to buy both?
No overlap. Natal is about your lifelong tendencies as a person; Annual is about the ups and downs of this one year — and Annual is read with all three layers stacked, Natal, Decade, Annual. Without Natal as the backdrop, Annual is just a string of isolated events. You get the full picture reading both, but there's no rush to buy everything at once.
Do I have to read them in order?
No. Just one suggestion: read Natal first and the later readings have something to reference. The Compatibility Reading and the Cards are completely independent — use them whenever you like.
What's the difference between the Ziwei Cards and chart analysis?
The Cards use no chart and no birth time; they answer "the one thing in front of you," over a span of about three months. Chart analysis answers "you as a person" and "this stretch of time," and needs an accurate birth time. When something's hanging over you but it's not yet at the point of reading a whole chart write-up, use the Cards.
Can I use this without an accurate birth time?
The Cards, yes — they need no birth details at all. Anything that needs a chart is affected: the hour directly determines where the Life palace and most other palaces land, so when the hour is uncertain, treat the results as broad direction only. If you're picking an hour for a baby, that's what Birth time selection is for — the opposite direction.
The Compatibility Reading needs the other person's birth details — is it OK if they don't know?
Technically it'll run, but that's someone else's personal data — please use it only with the other person's knowledge or consent.
What's the difference between the AI astrologer Q&A and a reading by a human astrologer?
The AI astrologer Q&A is AI — it can read your chart, you can ask anytime, and it'll ask you back when the premise isn't clear. A reading by a human astrologer is a real astrologer replying by text over official LINE, getting back to you within business days, currently in Chinese only. Want an immediate response, use the Q&A; want a real person's judgment, use the human reading.
