A compatibility quiz hands you 87% — and then what? Synastry does the opposite: it lays every pull between you side by side — which of your stars transforms into which of their palaces, and theirs into yours. A 化忌 landing on their Life palace means “can't let this person go”; a 化祿 on their Fortune palace means “just being together feels good.” Direction and landing can't be flattened into one percentage, so we draw a two-way pull chart: every strand marked with who pulls whom, how strong, and whether it's for life or only these few years — the whole tug between you in one glance.

Two methods, read together

The first is star pairing: whether your two Life Palaces sit in the same branch or exactly mirror each other, whether one person's Spouse Palace main star is the other's Life Palace main star. That is how closely your innate fields sit.

The second — the heart of the reading — is flying transformations: starting from the birth-year stem and the stems of the Life, Spouse, Fortune and Children palaces, it works out where each side's Four Transformations land in the other's chart. That is the real interaction. The system ranks every landing it actually computes by strength, carries only the most decisive ones into the reading, and flags combinations like "one can't let go while the other happens to have it to give" so the report has a spine instead of a long list.

It tells you what actually happens — not adjectives

The report won't just say you're ‘compatible’ and should ‘communicate more’. It opens with a side-by-side table of who each of you is, then breaks the key pulls down one by one — what each looks like in real life — and hands you a playbook: what each of you most needs to know, the exact lines never to cross, and a keep-and-avoid list for the long run. Different relationships, different palaces

The same transformation means something completely different across relationships, so synastry swaps the palaces it focuses on and the tone of the reading based on the type you pick — the same two people, read as a different relationship, is a different report.

You can also note where the two of you stand right now — already together, for instance — and the reading shifts to how to make it work rather than whether you should be together at all.

How is a synastry worked out — is it accurate?

The backbone is two real charts and their actual flying-star landings, not generic lines — run the same pair several times and the chart and its main pulls stay the same; only the wording of the prose shifts. Accuracy rests mostly on how precise both birth times are: the hour directly shifts the Life palace and most other palaces, so if either time is uncertain, treat the result as a broad direction.

Do both people need to be present?

No. All you need is the other person's birth date and birth hour. That is someone else's personal data, though, so please use it with their knowledge or consent.

I already cast the other person's chart. Can I reuse it?

Yes. Either side can be picked from your existing charts, and if that chart's natal reading has already run it is reused — not re-run, and not charged again. Birth details newly entered for a reading become proper charts of your own once paid, and your chart quota increases accordingly.

Will it give a compatibility score?

No. Pull has both a direction and a landing place; a Ji transformation into the Life Palace and a Lu transformation into the Fortune Palace are entirely different things, and a single percentage would only distort them. What you get is a reading: where you fit, where you get stuck, who can't let go, and what getting along looks like.

Which relationships can be read?

Five: couples / marriage; work (colleagues, managers, reports); business partnership / co-founding; friends; parent-child / family. Pick a different relationship and both the palaces in focus and the tone of the reading shift with it.

Does it have to be one man and one woman?

No. The pull analysis reads the flying-star and star interactions between two charts and has nothing to do with gender pairing — opposite-sex and same-sex couples both work. The only gender-based signal is the traditional “yang-man / yin-woman” match; for anyone who isn’t one man and one woman it simply doesn’t show, and every other part of the reading is exactly the same.

Can a couples reading cover intimacy?

Yes, but only if you opt in, and the option appears only when both people are 18 or older (verified from the birth details). It stays on compatibility, needs and differences in attitude, read from the stars and transformations in the Children Palace and related palaces — never physical specifics. If you don't opt in, none of it enters the reading.

How is synastry priced?

One pairing is a one-time purchase; the exact amount shows at checkout. If either person already has a chart it's reused with no double charge; the birth entry newly created for the pairing becomes a real chart in your account after payment — so one purchase keeps both people's charts.

If the reading says we don't fit, is that the end of it?

No. It describes the tendencies of the interaction between two charts, not a verdict on the relationship. Knowing which palace the two of you get stuck in is usually more useful than knowing whether you "fit" — that is the part you can actually talk through.
