Jiekong: Star in Depth

Stars：Minor Stars

Jiekong: the "Face-Down Palace" and the "Door Waiting to Open" of the life script

Core image: like a shop with its shutter pulled down, the sign is still up, but the stars inside are not at work for now.

Trait analysis: it governs covering and postponement. Its full name is "the void that cuts the road" (截路空亡), and it is placed by the heavenly stem of the birth year. The stars in the palace where Jiekong sits are as if turned face down: ordinarily they do not act. The palace itself can still be triggered; only the stars inside lose their effect for the time being. Because they are covered, the traits of the stars in the opposite palace show more clearly. Jiekong has little effect on appearance.

Career drive: the stars here open only when the Life Palace of a period cycle walks into this palace. That counts the decade, the year, the minor cycle, the month and the day; once any one cycle's Life Palace steps in, the stars here open for the other cycles too. So the good and bad of this area often "arrive late": barely noticeable most of the time, then showing all at once when a cycle reaches it.

Emotion and social life: if Jiekong falls in a relationship palace such as Spouse or Friends, what you usually feel there is mostly the character of the opposite palace's stars; only when a cycle's Life Palace arrives do this palace's own stars come to the surface.

Life-navigation advice: covered does not mean absent. A Jiekong palace is a scene whose performance has been postponed; watch for when a cycle reaches it, and you can prepare ahead of time.
